Arrival to Copenhagen, the Capital of Denmark

Home to one of the oldest monarchies in the world with a history tracing back to the Viking Age. History is everywhere in Copenhagen where cobblestone streets, palaces and royal artefacts make for a beautiful backdrop to the modern life lived by the Copenhageners of today.

From Copenhagen to Vilnius, Lithuania

Arrival to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Our transportation for the whole trip will be waiting for us at the airport.

  • Trip to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. (~35 minutes)

Vilnius, the Capital of Lithuania

Our excursion begins in the historic capital city center of Vilnius, which dates back to the Middle Ages. Led by our knowledgeable tour guides, you will visit the famous landmarks of Vilnius Old Town, while learning interesting facts about the area. Some noteworthy stops of your walking tour include the Presidential Palace, Cathedral Square, and Vilnius University, in addition to some gorgeous baroque and gothic churches. Following the city center, we will make our way to the colorful district of Užupis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is known for its artsy aesthetic and fascinating history.

While it may appear to be just another neighborhood, the local community of Užupis declared itself to be an independent republic back in 1998. Today it is referred to as the Republic of Užupis and even has its own president, constitution, and cabinet of ministers. Home to around 1,000 artists, this is the perfect location to buy handcrafted souvenirs.

Following your walking tour, we will have our first amber experience of the day – an amber tasting. Indulge your senses and sample amber tea, cheeses, cookies, and other sweets, as well as sniffing amber incense. Your guide will give you a history lesson during the tasting and you’ll learn some cool facts.

After the breakfast: Driving to Riga, the Capital of Latvia (295 km ~ 3 hrs 40 mins)

By driving we will experience the beautiful midsummer countryside, and we will visit places like the Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace, and the Salaspils Memorial in Latvia.

Founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, Riga is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument.

After we got acquainted with Riga, we have the possibility of discovering medieval Latvia.

Late Afternoon: Driving to Estonia

(187 km ~ 2.4 hours)

We will drive via the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. We listen to the medieval Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle and of the Castle of the Knights of the Sword before we continue forward to Pärnu.

Throughout a beautiful coastal road, we will reach Pärnu the summer capital of Estonia, captivating visitors with its picturesque landscapes, rich wetlands, and pristine beaches. This charming city not only offers a relaxing escape but also serves as a hub for nature lovers, promising an array of outdoor activities enhanced by the serene backdrop of the Baltic Sea. Overnight in Pärnu Rannahotell /or Amende Villa 4-Star Hotel.

After Breakfast: Meeting with the Estonian Business Ladies (TBC)

In the afternoon, along the coastal highway to the Tallinn, the Capital of Estonia (131km ~ 1.4 hours)

After the arrival in Tallinn through the North Estonian land of forests, check-in Hotel Viru 4-Star in the heart of Tallinn.

Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants.

Sightseeing Tour

The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town, where we’ll see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the medieval Town Hall and the Great Guild Hall.

We will also take a day trip to Lahemaa National Park.

12 June 2025, Thursday

In the morning after breakfast, we will take a ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki (2 hrs)

Arrival to Helsinki, the capital of Finland

Helsinki is the capital of Finland and the largest city in the country. It is a very maritime city and is popularly called the daughter of the Baltic and or the “Pearl of the Baltic Sea”. It is situated in the southern part of the country and has a population of ~700 000. Its area consists of around 330 islands with lush green forests and coastal nature.
